The Artists

Mirka Andolfo is an award-winning Italian artist and writer, appreciated for her strong female characters. Her creator-owned books (Blasfamous, Sweet Paprika, Unnatural, Mercy, Un/Sacred) are published in more than 25 countries in the world (so far, the sales total more than 1,000,000 copies). She has collaborated with DC Comics since 2015, working on titles including Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, DC Comics Bombshells, Punchline, RWBY, Superman vs Lobo. In 2020, she became the first Italian creator to work on both story and artwork at DC (Harley Quinn Black + White + Red), and she recently did it again on DC vs. Vampires: All-Out War. Andolfo has also written and illustated for The Walt Disney Company, Marvel, Dynamite (Red Sonja, Red Sitha, Vampirella, Bettie Paige), BOOM! Studios (The Amazing World of Gumball, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and she illustrated two issues of the award-winning Ms. Marvel series (Marvel). She graphically created for the series the character of Red Dagger, who appears in the Marvel Studios’ television series, played by Aramis Knight. As an illustrator, she’s contributed to marketing and advertising campaigns for companies including Paramount, 20th Century Studios, Netflix, Microsoft, and Juventus, and has drawn comics and illustrations for many publishers both in Europe and in the United States.
