Lee Bermejo is an American comic book artist best known for graphic novels such as JOKER, LUTHOR, and BATMAN: DAMNED with writer Brian Azzarello. In 2012 he wrote and illustrated the best selling graphic novel BATMAN: NOEL for DC Comics and in 2015 his first creator owned project SUICIDERS, was published by Vertigo. As a cover artist, lengthy runs of his illustrations can be found on books like HELLBLAZER, SUPERMAN, and most recently DETECTIVE COMICS which resulted in the book DEAR DETECTIVE, the first ever cover project designed as it's own unique narrative. Currently he is finishing A VICIOUS CIRCLE with screenwriter Mattson Tomlin for BOOM studios. He currently lives and works in Italy.
