The Artists

Jordi Bernet, the son of a cartoonist, was born in 1944 and has been drawing comics since 1960. Aside from his native Spain, Bernet has been published across the globe, most recently as the artist of Jonah Hex for DC Comics. His most famous and acclaimed work is Torpedo, beginning with the third story after Alex Toth departed the series. He carries the torch of some of the greats like his friend Frank Robbins, Noel Sickles, Bob Lubbers or Tony Weare among many others. Other of his works are Clara de Noche, Cicca Dum Dum, Noir Tales, Dan Lacombe, Andrax and Tex. Jordi Bernet today remains one of the most vital artists in comics.
