The Artists

Giorgio Comolo is a freelance illustrator, highly regarded for his hyper-detailed works of cosmic settings. In 2017 he celebrated 25 years of working as an illustrator with two prestigious awards: he was chosen among the 100 worldwide top artists to collaborate to Kirby 100, a volume published by TwoMorrows Publishing in the USA for the centenary of the birth of Jack Kirby, and the Italian Association La Nona Arte commissioned him to create his personal portfolio Giorgio Comolo Fine Art, where he reinterpreted paintings of classical and contemporary art with a superhero slant and issued at the Napoli Comic Con. For 365 days a year he draws, listens to jazz, and climbs impossibly steep roads with his mountain bike.
