The Artists

After the artistic academic training, Bertolucci began collaborating with Disney Italia and illustrating children’s books. Then, he teamed up with the writer Frédéric Brrémaud and together they have published for the French publish market with Soleil, Delcourt, Bamboo, Clair de Lune, Ankama, Dupuis and Glénat. He was awarded the Gran Giunigi, Lucca Comics and Games’ Panel special prize in 2011 for his Love series and, in 2016, the Gold Medal for Best Graphic novel at the Independent Publisher Book Award in Chicago. He has received 7 nominations, between 2016 and 2022, for the Eisner Awards in San Diego. His work has been displayed, in 2017, in a monographic exhibit at Palazzo Ducale, in Lucca. And, in 2019, he has been awarded with the Romics d’oro. In 2020 he also started to collaborate with MoonActive, as a videogame artist. His work is published all over the world.
