Former biotech researcher, Emanuela Lupacchino began her artistic career with the Italian series "L'Insonne." She collaborated on RPG books as a character designer and worked as an illustrator for albums and books.
Her first U.S. assignment was with IDW, where she worked on several titles including Angel and Star Trek / Doctor Who. Her passion for superheroes soon led her to Marvel Comics as regular artist on X-Factor, written by Peter David. She went on to work on many titles such as Thor, X-Men, Avengers, and Ghost Rider, just to name a few.
After her long run at Marvel, she collaborated with Valiant Entertainment on the reboot of Archer & Armstrong, Bloodshot, and Harbinger. At the same time, she worked as a cover artist for DC Comics on World's Finest, Birds of Prey, and Catwoman.
Following her time at Valiant, she began working regularly for DC Comics, becoming part of the new Supergirl creative team and serving as cover artist for special variant editions. She worked on several titles including JLA, Bombshells, Wonder Woman, Catwoman, Batman & Robin, and Starfire, to name a few. One of her most important runs was on the regular Wonder Woman series, producing both interiors and covers.
She worked as a concept artist and designer for the Warner Bros. theme park in Abu Dhabi and has also designed statues, movie posters, merchandising, and TV series artwork.
She is the artist on Teen Titans, written by Mark Waid, Wonder Woman, Batman Black and White, Action Comics, and many more DC Comics titles. She also works as an illustrator for Marvel, DC, and Epic Games.
She is currently working on the comics adaptation of the acclaimed TV series "The Beauty" (Ignition Press).
